1) a quiet night at home or a noisy party?

2) a long night's sleep or lots of time up late even if they need to get up early?

3) time to read or time to watch a movie?

4) a yummy dessert or a delicious main course?

5) a perfect cup of coffee or a perfect cup of tea?

I'll go with the quiet night as does Gríma but Jack would prefer the noisy party I think.

2) a long night's sleep or lots of time up late even if they need to get up early?
We are all night owls mostly.

3) time to read or time to watch a movie?
I think most of us would prefer reading...it really depends on the movie but seeing the movies lately we'd rather have a good book with an actual plot.

4) a yummy dessert or a delicious main course?
The ones that like to eat would dig straight into the dessert.

5) a perfect cup of coffee or a perfect cup of tea?
None of us drinks coffee but Jack and he's not allowed towhen he fronts because it makes the body sick; tea it is :P

my answer to questions 1, 3, 4, and 5 is : yes. we like all of those things, and it's a constant juggling act to make sure that everyone's opinions get respected.

but with 2) a long night's sleep or lots of time up late even if they need to get up early?

definitely not sleeping. unless our body counts in the decision (it does badly if we don't sleep more than we'd like), we'd love it if we just never had to sleep at all. we've hated sleep since we were tiny, and our mother says we stopped taking naps at 6 months.

then again, there are parts who curl up and go to sleep inside when they get sleepy, so it's possible that there are just enough parts who are vying for time that it takes a while before *everyone* inside goes to sleep. there are definite night owls and morning people in the system. so even if some of us stay up really late, pretty early in the morning, the little kids will be nagging "is it getting up time? the sun is up! it's time to be awake!!"
